He graduated in Fine Arts in 2000, being part of one of the first graduating classes to produce audiovisual productions with digital media, 3D and web design. He has directed and produced plays and short films, playing roles in post-production, set design, visual effects and scriptwriting.

In 2001, he founded a digital agency with his partners, where he has explored various technologies and disciplines, such as 3D animation, motion graphics and augmented reality, among others. During those years, however, his career focused mainly as a creative developer, a discipline that combines programming and creativity in interactive experiences.

In 2009, after achieving great success with various projects, he founded Awwwards.com with his two partners with the vision of creating a strong community of digital creatives. Awwwards quickly became a reference and meeting point for top agencies and creatives from all over the world, serving as a constant source of inspiration for millions of users. In addition, Awwwards has managed to materialize this great community through its international conferences, held in cities such as New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tokyo, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Toronto, among others.

Jéssica works as the main curator of Awwwards and also collaborates with other educational platforms in areas such as web programming, animation and interaction, carrying out research on trends.  In the last two years, as part of her research into new technologies applied to the digital industry, she has experimented with all kinds of AI tools, augmented and virtual reality, Web3, among others. Since 2012, he has been publishing all this research in the platform’s annual book, one of the main themes being the emergence of AI in the industry.

Personally, she has a deep futuristic vocation and is passionate about 3D animation, Arduino, IoT, cryptos and metaverses. But above all, she is the mother of two digital natives who help her enormously to understand the society of the future.
