Maria Cervelló Llorca born in Valencia in 1986.

She develops her artistic studies and sound research in a self taught way. She has spent much of her time working in the audiovisual sector as an FX make-up artist, props manufacturer or art director.

In 2017 she starts her personal project “Polifeme”. From 2018 until today she has performed in festivals like “PinPanPun” or “Atronador Fest” and in different venues in Spain sharing the stage with artists like Dave Phillips, Pierce Warnecke, Sun Araw, Tomaga, Dame Area or Sunwatchers.

From the middle of this year she presents the Radio Pica programme “La Hermana de Clara Rockmore” dedicated to the beginnings of electronic music since the 1930s.

Her work in the field of sound research takes her in search of a pure and electric sound. Studying the rhythmic possibilities of unconventional devices such as electrocardiographs or the development of the manufacture of a sequencer from a marine radar screen.
